From here, excursions to Taormina (just 2 kilometers away), Catania, Syracuse, Agrigento, Palermo, the Aeolian Islands, Mount Etna, the pine forest of Linguaglossa (a charming and unique sea-snow itinerary), and the Alcantara Valley with its suggestive and famous Alcantara Gorges are possible.
